What is the JET Program?The JET Program is a cultural exchange program sponsored by the Japanese government. Most of the alumni visiting our web site have held one of two positions: (1) Coordinator of International Relations, working in the offices of local governments, and (2) Assistant Language Teacher, assisting with language instruction in public schools. Profile of JET AlumniAll alumni of the JET Program have two things in common: they are college or university graduates, and they have worked in Japan for the Japanese government for a period of 1-3 years.
